West Cork Recruitment are delighted to be hiring for multiple Artic Driver positions on behalf of a well-known company based in Clonakilty. These are permanent full-time positions. Candidates must be living in Cork.
The positions involve nightly round trips from Clonakilty to one of the below supplier locations (depending on loading requirements). Newcastle West, West Waterford and West Cork and returning to Clonakilty.
Duties
• Departure from Clonakilty depot nightly.
• Travel to assigned supplier locations.
• On arrival to supplier location, driver will have to open the curtains on the trailer and lift the roof to allow loading to be completed.
• Travel back to Clonakilty nightly and ensure offloading is completed.
• Secure truck onsite before finishing shift.
Additional Info
• Job contains driving livestock from suppliers to company depot.
• Truck & Trailor provided.
Job Schedule
• Starting time is variable between the hours of 10pm and 7am per night depending on farm location and if the driver has one or two loads that night.
• This is five nights a week role starting on a Sunday night.
Benefits
• There is accommodation available with this role if required by the candidate in Clonakilty.
• The weekly pay is up to €800 a week (Net / Post tax).
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience driving is required.
• Spoken and written English is required.
Licence/Certification:
• CPC (required)
• Full driving licence (required)
• CE Driving Licence (required)
